The International Sand Sculpture Festival has kicked off in the picturesque location of Nansha in the Chinese city of Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province. This year marks the 24th edition of the event.
Sculptors from all over the world take part in it. This time, they presented more than 50 works of sand art.
All of them are dedicated to the Asian Games. The artists were inspired by sports, science, and humanistic trends. The sand sculptures will be on display until April 2024.
The festival takes place every year, and the location remains the same. However, a new theme is proposed each time. For example, one of the previous festivals was dedicated to the World Cup.
