Eight ways to climb the Great Wall of China

By 2028, Thailand and China will be connected by a high-speed rail system via Laos. Passengers will be able to enjoy a trip from Bangkok to Beijing with stops in the Laotian capital, Vientiane, and the southern Chinese city of Kunming.

The journey from the capital of Thailand to China's largest city will take almost a day and cover more than three thousand kilometers. Although the road itself is long, the beauty of the mountainous and natural landscapes that will unfold before travelers' eyes is sure to enchant them with its splendor.

Compared to a flight, which takes only five hours, traveling by train allows you to enjoy the nature and culture of the region. This is a great opportunity for those who are not in a hurry and enjoy exploring new places and sights.

According to Nikkei, a high-speed train already runs between China and Laos, which has significantly reduced the delivery time for Thai goods to China. Now, transporting goods by rail takes only 15 hours, whereas previously it took two days.

Thailand is seeking to improve relations with China, its largest trading partner. Last year, the kingdom's exports to China were estimated at nearly $32 billion, while imports from China amounted to $65.3 billion, with electrical equipment and machinery leading the way.

In addition to trade, the countries are establishing closer ties in the field of tourism. Chinese tourists can stay in Thailand for up to 60 days, while Thai travelers can stay in China for up to 30 days.
